I think it's a good thing that Jen moved to Mill Valley. Chris and I have been meeting up with her about halfway between our houses, and in consequence we've been to San Francisco more this month than possibly the entire preceding year. Which is excellent because almost every time we go to SF we have a great time and say to ourselves "Why don't we do this more often?" and then go another 6 months without a visit. Anyway, today we went to a new chocolate place
TCHO. They don't have a factory tour yet, but hopefully soon they will since their factory is right on Pier 17. We tasted all their chocolates and all of them are perfectly adequate and the Fruity bar is really quite delicious. It's fun because they sell "beta" bars there so you can see what the versions of Fruity were (for example) that didn't make the cut. Also, they sell drinking chocolate there which is basically fondue in a cup. Yum. Anyway, after that we went to the Ferry Building, which is a tourist trap but I just love it. Finally we went to the Renegade Craft Fair in Fort Mason and I was unable to resist buying a cute art piece of a tree pattern painted (printed?) on a beautiful piece of elm.
Anyway, here's some photos for you of Chris and Jen looking lovely. For this particular batch I picked the photos where the adults looked cute, since it seems nearly impossible to get a Gadda photo where everyone looks good, and the baby can't talk yet to complain.

Next, by request of Cece, and since Chris deserves to be bragged about, photos of a box he made in woodworking class. Isn't it lovely?
